The Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) has given its condition for negotiation with FG

The Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) under the leadership of Mazi Nnamdi Kanu has given its condition for negotiation with the Federal Government, urging the presidency to first obey court orders freeing their leader or forget negotiation.
This was contained in a statement issued by the group spokesman, Mr. Emma Powerful, and made available to our correspondent.
According to the statement: “Prevailing circumstance has made it crucial to clarify that our leader is not and will not discuss with the Nigerian government until court orders granting him unconditional release are obeyed by the Department of State Services (DSS).”
The statement urged the public to discountenance the misinformation that led to the sack of the defence counsels to Nnamdi Kanu.
It noted: “The public must understand that Barrister Ifeanyi Ejiofor and Barrister Amobi Nzelu are not members of IPOB; they are only there for the legal defence of our leader and therefore do not know the modus operandi of the IPOB family. And that is the cause of the misinformation.”
